Smart Technologies in Fire Fighting

WATER EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS

All high-rise buildings including residences, shopping malls, parking lots, accommodation, education, health care, trade, storage, production, etc. should use systems that include appropriate types of sprinkler heads, depending on the characteristics of the spaces.

The areas and buildings to be protected by automatic sprinkler system are classified in low, medium and high hazard groups depending on their intended use. If there is more than one hazard class in the same building or area; the system is solved according to the class with the highest hazard. Before starting the Sprinkler System design, it is very important to determine the hazard class of the facility to be designed correctly.

Depending on the hazard class, sprinkler heads also differ according to the requirements of the selected system. Especially with the development of specific sprinkler heads for special hazard classes, it has become even more important to intervene in fire using water. The availability and economy of water has also increased the importance of water use.

Sprinkler systems are special systems developed to protect against fire hazards of facilities that realize increased production depending on the developing technology and the variety of materials or raw materials used in the industry.

  • Wet Pipe Sprinkler Systems

It is the most commonly used sprinkler system with the simplest installation. It can be used safely in areas where there is no danger of freezing. It is especially used in Social Buildings, Parking Lots, Trade Centers, Hotels, Public Buildings, Factories and Warehouses.

  • Dry Pipe Sprinkler Systems

These systems are used in freezing and unheated environments or in areas open to the outside environment. The system uses compressed air or nitrogen instead of water.

  • Deluge Sprinkler Systems

It is especially used in Industrial warehouses, Aircraft Maintenance Hangars, Fuel or Oil Storage Facilities, Tank Cooling Systems, Transformer Protection and areas where fire must be suppressed quickly where special danger is involved. It can be supplied and installed with Hydraulic Activation, Pneumatic Activation or Fire Detection System activation options.

  • Pre-Action Sprinkler Systems

It is used in critical areas of Computer Rooms, Energy Distribution Rooms, Archive Areas, Libraries, Museums, Museums, Historical Buildings, Cold Rooms, Printing Houses or Factories where valuable products are produced. It is installed with Non-Interlock, Single- Interlock or Double-Interlock options.

  • Aqueous Extinguishing Systems Product Range
