THREADED PIPE FITTINGS
The advantages of using grooved systems include speed and ease of installation, no need for welding, ease of disassembly and maintenance, time saving and low labor costs. Couplings used with grooved pipes provide complete sealing with the rubber gasket they contain.
Grooved pipe connections are frequently used where welded manufacturing is not possible. It provides flexibility in the pipe route in areas where pipe installation conditions are difficult.
Since it is a type of connection that allows easy disassembly and assembly of pipe parts, it is also used partially at the points deemed necessary in the installation and in applications for earthquake protection of the installation. Pipes are grooved and joined by means of couplings with gaskets on them.
In seismic movements, grooved connection systems are safer than welded systems since they include stretching, expansion, shortening and bending properties. The grooved pipelines applied have vibration-reducing properties together with clamps. Grooved system connections have started to be rapidly applied and preferred in our country.
